It’s always great to see Danica and Blake behind my lens. They have been my clients for years… it feels like since I started but I don’t think it’s been nearly that long! They first came to me when they won a couples session with me. They were such a down to Earth couple who possessed really great connection so naturally. Later I photographed their amazing wedding a little farm and feel even more in love with them as a couple. This time they purchased a home and invited me to meet them there and mark yet another amazing milestone in their lives. They’re expecting a baby and wanted to share the news with the world and with family via print products.
So one evening I headed north to their home – funny they live just a few minutes from me! They have a really great plot of land with the most wonderful sunset right behind their property. We hung out in the front section of their yard because I got hooked on the ferns growing up front and the way the light fell in from behind through the trees.
Because their fur baby has been the center of their world it was only fitting to include an announcement photo with the whole family. We made that happen and tried to incorporate a lot of different parts of them as a couple. With farm land and chicken it’s an easy thing to achieve let me tell ya! PLUS they are such a cute couple 🙂
