This just in… Lisa and David are expecting their first baby!!!!

So, I first met Lisa many years ago through my husbands work. She’s such a preppy sweet gal and we’ve always kept in touch. It also just so happens that my dear friend is her sister in law! So of course I’m always checking in on her and we cross paths at parties and such. When she met David and told me about him I could see this spark in her eye and giddiness as she spoke about him. Fast forward, they have since married and been thinking about a baby. Epp… then I get the text confirming this amazing news! So then we must get photos lined up and tell her family – pretty cool job being in the know to help plan such exciting news to change the family is such a wonderful way! I love my job! 🙂

David and Lisa and so trusting and easy to with, they left the location details up to me and instantly I wanted to take them to a place I’ve dipped into a few times to look around. We met up just outside of Lutz and goodness was the sunlight game on for us. They brought a couple sweet items that meant something to their family. The first was a bible Lisa got when she was a baby. It actually has a beautiful little inscription within! They also brought their first baby shoes and I worked some photoshop magic since we’re unsure of the gender so we made it boy/girl for the image delivery 🙂 Lastly David has golf in his blood sooo we incorporated that piece into their official announcement on the DigitalMyst Photography Facebook.

I have to say – these two are something else – I haven’t shot a family session for them in about a year but when I do you just feel their bond behind the lens as if we’re all together without any time passing. They are so smitten and in love and honestly, it’s a fresh breath of air to see that. These two are so deserving of a little person to love and I’m excited to see what’s ahead for them!
