There is something incredibly special about the season before a family grows. The anticipation, excitement, and sweet moments spent together become memories you'll treasure forever.
I recently had the honor of photographing Hannah and her beautiful family as they prepare to welcome their third baby—and their very first boy! After being blessed with two wonderful daughters, everyone is beyond excited to meet the little guy who will soon complete their family.
For this sunset maternity session, we focused less on posing and more on simply enjoying time together. The girls ran, played, giggled, and soaked up every minute with Mom and Dad as the golden sun dipped below the horizon. Some of my favorite moments came from watching them cuddle up to Hannah's growing belly, excitedly talking about their baby brother and imagining all the adventures they'll share.
One of the things I love most about maternity photography is capturing families exactly as they are in this chapter of life. Before sleepless nights, before first smiles, and before tiny baby toes fill the house once again. These fleeting moments deserve to be remembered just as much as the milestones that come after.
As the sunset wrapped the family in beautiful golden light, it was easy to see the joy and love surrounding this growing family. Their daughters are already incredible big sisters, and there is no doubt this little boy is being welcomed into a home filled with laughter, warmth, and endless love.
