Maternity Photos in St. Pete's North Straub Park


This park is really stunning Tampa friends! The pink florals on the arbor during this time of year are such a show stopper and the lighting in the evening is stunning for family and maternity photography. Plus if you're looking for various photo spots it's got beautiful buildings, nice lighting morning or evening and also some water options and the St. Pete pier is literally behind the park giving you big variety to flex your creative eye.


When I heard my sister in law was coming and staying in the Vinoy St. Pete area I suggested we meet at North Straub Park. It's got a small town feel for me but with mini Central Park vibe for near downtown St. Pete. We walked under beautiful blanketed trees on a Friday night and it was magical. The lighting came just over the building scape in the distance and although it was lively, it felt rather quiet and intimate to capture the bliss of a new baby on the way.


I suggested Katherine wear green and gosh was it perfect on her sweet baby bump. This particular maxi displays a baby bump so perfectly and her little outie is totally cute! Plus, the love between her and Jon is really special and I adore the photos we captured that evening near the water in St. Pete.
